I am a professional Trauma Informed Recovery Coach with over a decade of experience working professionally in the field. I have traveled to private homes throughout the United States, as well as internationally, to help women from all walks of life struggling with many forms of addictive behaviors. I have also supported women while they are in high-end treatment facilities in Malibu, California. I provide this in-house 24/7 support during the tenuous first days, weeks, and sometimes months of early recovery, with kindness, confidentiality, and discretion.
Originally from Australia, I moved to Brooklyn over 20 years ago, during which time I spent a year living in Israel, followed by several years in California. My long-term personal recovery journey over the last 16 years has enabled me to support women in the comfort of their own homes.
My life experience has given me the ability to relate to women during all stages of their lives, be they religious or secular, privileged or without means, married or single, struggling with substance use and/or mental as well as physical health challenges.
Having had the privilege of raising my own children, I am able to assist in navigating the emotional landscape of troubled teens as well as help build healthy boundaries for all involved.
I am well-suited to support women of all ages and well-versed in the multiple demands on time and energy we have as daughters, mothers, and wives.
I am trained in DBT, which provides practical skills and tools for emotion regulation, mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance, which I have found imperative in order to survive intense emotions that inevitably come up in life.
My trauma training helps women slowly uncover the events and feelings that have remained unhealed, providing a safe space to begin the process of finding freedom from the pain and patterns these events may currently still be causing.
My life is dedicated to providing the solid scaffolding to assist women on their journey toward permanent freedom from addictions and other self-harming behaviors. I will always maintain a non-judgmental stance with unconditional positive regard and full discretion for all involved.
I perform my job with loyal dedication and devotion to each and every woman in their quest to find a new, happy, and healthy way to live.
