Natalie Delgadillo is a recovery and wellness coach located in Houston, Texas. She has been in continuous recovery for 15 years. Through her own journey of healing, she discovered a passion for working and volunteering in the field of recovery and mental health. Natalie’s core philosophy is that each of us already holds the wisdom and keys to our own healing and questions of life. Through inquiry, intentional living, mindfulness, and a healthy, thriving network, she believes individuals can begin and maintain a life of recovery. Her philosophy resides in the strategy to help guide others back home to themselves through self-empowerment.
Natalie believes in a comprehensive, goal-based collaborative process that is impactful to people in all seasons of life. She specializes in dialectical behavioral therapy and holds certifications in crisis intervention, recovery coaching, trauma-based relational intervention, and earned a 200-hour registered kids’ yoga teacher certification. She has lovingly served as a volunteer and was a recreational therapist in a residential treatment center for over a decade.
Through her own recovery journey, Natalie has had rich and diverse exposure to the continuum of care. These ranged from alternative peer groups, 12-step-based programs, inpatient and outpatient care, recovery high schools, and collegiate recovery programs. Natalie was a founding member of Cougars in Recovery at The University of Houston and a student member of the nationally renowned Texas Tech University’s Center for Collegiate Recovery organization. She has also utilized alternative forms of therapy that include neurotherapy treatment, naturopathic doctors, neuro-emotional technique, financial therapy, and shamanic advisors.
Natalie works with individuals to bridge the gap between where they are and where they want to be, and creates a plan to get there. She follows a holistic approach by integrating a wide range of tools and strategies that include dialectical behavioral therapy, intentional and personalized physiological movement, and 12-step-based programs. These strategies provide the foundation needed for each individual who is on a journey of authentic connection to themselves.
